With years of experience in kickboxing and self-defence, my mission is to guide individuals of all levels on their journey to becoming fighting fit. Whether you’re here to learn powerful kickboxing techniques, enhance your endurance, or develop practical self-defence skills, I offer customised training that combines high-energy workouts with expert coaching.

What I Offer
- Combat Kickboxing Classes: Get fit while mastering powerful striking and kicking techniques, every Saturday at 7:30am at Hurlston Hall, Ormskirk £10 per person, booking is essential.
- Self-Defence Training: Learn how to protect yourself with practical and effective self-defence skills, with 6 Week Workshops, Corporate training plus One to One training.

About Jennie – Your Combat Kickboxing Coach
Hi, I’m Jennie, a certified Personal Security ( Self Defence) coach and Combat Kickboxing examiner/coach with a passion for helping people unlock their full potential through fitness, kickboxing, and self-defence. My journey in martial arts and combat sports began with a desire to not only improve my own fitness but to learn how to empower others through strength and skill development. Over the years, I’ve transformed that passion into a career dedicated to coaching people of all fitness levels, guiding them to become stronger, fitter, and more confident.
My training approach is rooted in the belief that fitness and self-defence are not just about physical strength but about mental toughness, resilience, and self-empowerment. Whether you’re looking to improve your stamina, master combat techniques, or learn effective self-defence strategies, my sessions offer a supportive, motivating environment where you can achieve your goals at your own pace.
In addition to my work as a combat kickboxing coach, I’m constantly evolving, sharpening my skills through ongoing training with some of the best in the industry, including renowned self-defence experts Peter Consterdine. I’m proud to bring that experience to each class I teach, offering you the very best in martial arts training and self-protection skills.
When I’m not coaching or training, I’m passionate about promoting personal security, especially for women, to help others feel empowered in both fitness and life. My goal is to help you not only build physical strength but to feel more confident in every aspect of your life.

How To Feel Fighting Fit
Fed up with feeling less than fighting fit? Tired of dieting or obsessing over your weight? Envious of those people who seem confident in their bodies, and seem to have no worries? If so, then this is exactly the right book for you.
Susanne Garnett and Jennie Hoskins met at a gym when Jennie tried to teach Susanne to box, and the session ended in lots of laughter. Susanne asked for boxing gloves for her seventieth birthday and the rest is history!
Now they’ve combined their very different skills, in combat fitness training, and writing. How to Feel Fighting Fit provides advice, stories, and encouragement, based on the lives and testimonies of real women, of all ages and levels of fitness. You can read it sitting on your sofa, but by the end, they hope you’ll want to stand up, step out, and embrace all that life can offer, whatever your age, and level of fitness.
It’s not an exercise manual or diet book, but more a pump-primer to fill you with confidence and energy, and the knowledge about healthy living to get started on the right path.
